Seizure Onset Research Dominoes

A researcher at the University of Exeter asked Sprice Machines to create two domino displays to promote a research article about epilepsy. The two projects represent how two types of seizures spread throughout the brain. The SOS domino technique was used to create colored circles that represent the different electrodes placed on the head during an EEG. The order and timing between each circle toppling needed to be on the exact same scale as measured in the research data, so an elaborate path was designed to link the circles in the correct order and provided to-scale timing delays.
